Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres: Registration renewal
Reminder to YFVCs to ensure training and registration are up-to-date
Under International Health Regulations (IHR) (2005), yellow fever (YF) vaccine can only be administered at centres designated by the health administration for the territory in which it is situated.
To remain designated, Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres (YFVCs) must ensure that:
The YFVC registration is renewed on time. Admin Leads will be sent regular registration renewal emails; please do not ignore these.
The training requirement for health professionals administering YF vaccine is met.
If the registration expires or the training requirement is not met, YFVCs will be suspended and subsequently de-designated (meaning enforced closure). YFVCs must not administer or purchase any further YF vaccine(s) if suspended or de-designated.
You can find more information about renewing your registration on the Yellow Fever Zone and our admin team are available to answer any questions about continuing designation.
