Information about the Annual Return for Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres (YFVCs) in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland
- The Annual Return for the 2025 period is now open and will close 19 June 2026
All Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres (YFVCs), who remained designated between 1 January and 31 December 2025, are required to submit a 2025 Annual Return. Submission of an Annual Return each year is a requirement under the Conditions of Designation for YFVCs. Failure to submit the Annual Return may result in suspension or de-designation of the YFVC.
Centres who withdrew YF services during 2025 are not required to submit this return but are asked for some information relating to YF vaccine use separately, as part of the withdrawal process.
Information you may wish to have available before you complete the Annual Return:
- YFVC identifying number and postcode.
- Number of YF vaccines given, according to age.
- Number of reinforcing (booster) doses of YF vaccine given and reason for each of these doses
- Number and training status of staff who undertook YF risk assessment and/or administered YF vaccine
- Number of YF vaccines given when there was a precaution or contraindication to YF vaccination
- Number and details of any serious adverse events following YF vaccination
- Number of Medical Letters of Exemption issued and reason for issue

A list of questions contained in the 2025 Annual Return is available here. Please note:
- You may not need to answer every question.
- Do NOT submit a PDF; only online submissions through this link will be accepted.
The 2025 Annual Return contains some optional questions that are not specific to YF vaccination services. These relate to current practice and confidence in advising on chikungunya as well as travellers living with sickle cell disorder. Your responses will help us to identify areas where further guidance or support may be beneficial.
Thank you for your co-operation.
